I can deal with the delay then, do you think i could possibly up this to 1600 pixels(4800 channels), or is that too much for Jinx to handle?

i figured it out, if i up the channels to 3000 it works with no flickering
only issue is the delay, and i'm using a BAUD_RATE of 1250000

Patching is correct as it worked perfectly when i used 400 LEDS with the same sketch

Hoping someone can help me with this.
I am using 800 WS2811 LEDs and to Arduino Mega via Geldiator.
I have no problem other than flickering once in a while in Glediator, but in Jinx i can not get them to work at all using the same sketch
I am using the Following sketch
Code
Alles anzeigen#include <FastLED.h> #define NUM_LEDS 800 #define DATA_PIN 6 #define CMD_NEW_DATA 1 #define BAUD_RATE 1000000 CRGB leds[NUM_LEDS]; void setup() { FastLED.addLeds<WS2811, DATA_PIN, RGB>(leds, NUM_LEDS); Serial.begin(BAUD_RATE); } int serialGlediator () { while (!Serial.available()) {} return Serial.read(); } void loop() { while (serialGlediator () != CMD_NEW_DATA) {} Serial.readBytes((char*)leds, NUM_LEDS*3); FastLED.show(); }
